Mariah Carey was in Calgary on 25th September performing at the ‘Dome.

The onlookers said that it did’nt really look like concert rather a “vegas-style circus” that opened with a short film in which Mariah spoke about nothing but HERSELF.

The other thing that her fans found hard to digest was when Mariah Carey the diva started screaming, “Look at me! Look at me! Oh, pleeeease look at me!”

Nevertheless, they absolutely enjoyed the vocal gymnastics of versatile Carey. A source says,”It is almost impossible to find a singer in today’s world of manufactured Idols who compares to the 36-year-old in terms of her vocal range, power and technical abilities.”

Here you go…Mariah has all the reasons in the world to be in love with herself.

Mirror ,Mirror on the wall who is the heaviest of them all …duh! Its you Mariah Carey.It seems she cant seem to face the fact that she is a bit chubby,sshh don’t tell her that or she will ban you too from her presence just like she did her weighing scales.According to her she has muscles and less fat and that is what is making her weigh more. Doesn’t she remember that Janet Jackson just to get a role in a new film had to gain 68 pounds but in the last minute Mariah without any effort [of gaining weight ] got the part.Now is not that indication enough for you Mariah ???

Its amazing how some celebs completely change their looks in the course of their career. Some celebs had to go under the knife to get their nose, boobs, teeth, butt and smile corrected to get that picture-perfect look.

We dont know if Diva Mariah Carey has jumped the wagon too. But you can try guessing.

In an attempt to fight AIDS, MTV Canada is staging online auctions of various celebrity belongings. Among the various items is Mariah Carey’s denim jacket which has been personally autographed by her!

Now aint that sweet guys… this superdiva has contributed a denim jacket to be auctioned off to raise funds to help fight AIDS.

But one thing I’d like to ask you Mariah… was that denim jacket all you could give? I mean come on… get real… i’m sure you can afford to give away more than just a denim jacket, right?

The most talked about recent concerts of Mariah Carey were definitely a huge success,but everything apparently was not as right there as expected.

The stage was often said to be cluttered with dancers, band members, singers, video screens and giant light-up “Mimi” marquees, while indulgent sets by her deejay and backup singer Trey Lorenz took up valuable set time.Carey was said to have spent almost half the concert time to change into a series of barely-there outfits.It’s her voice that made her famous, not her body, and fans deserved a real performance that highlighted that asset.

Though they got the predicable Vegas-style glamour-and-glitz-bling show,i guess that the main thing that made it all a success inspite of all this un-necessary hoopla was the presence of Carey’s voice.Well,cheers to her voice and hope we get to hear more of that the next time than the crowded circus that we have been seeing lately.

Mariah Carey’s comeback album ‘THE EMANCIPATION OF MIMI’ is surely a huge hit not only with the fans but also at all the award functions.Mariah was a clear winner at the Billboard’s 2006 R&B/Hip-Hop Awards.Mariah took home honors for top R&B/hip-hop artist, top female R&B/hip-hop artist, hot R&B/hip-hop songs artist, and top R&B/hip-hop albums artist. And her album was also named top R&B/hip-hop album.

Mariah Carey was the biggest winner of the evening, taking home five trophies and is still winning awards.Wow she definitely is back with a bang and certainly knows how to make a comeback.Well,here is wishing her luck to get many more awards and keep rocking her fans.CHEERS.

Mariah Carey’s tour from her album ‘Emancipation of Mimi’ has literally uplifted the singer’s spirit. With a completely extravagant stage set up from her which were suave and appealing where one of the backdrops looked like a beautiful countrynight sky. The stage was framed a Big white ‘M’ shape which changed colors like disco lights (No guesses for what the M stands for). Both the microphone and stand were covered with Swarovski Crystals. Wow!thats pretty flashy and flamboyant.

My favourite track from Mariah is of course ‘Hero’. I would love the fact if she just went back to the simplicity of her songs. Her current hit single in the concert was “Give It Up to Me” and also her album went platinum in 2005 with other hits like- “We Belong Together” and “Don’t Forget About Us”, which bagged three grammy awards. Apparently, Janet Jackson had to put on 68 pounds for the movie TENNESSEE only to discover that the role was taken away by Mariah Carey. Since then its been great hardwork for Janet to lose those 68 pounds.
