Rumors are abuzz that pop diva Mariah Carey achieved her ‘eternally 12′ figure through weight loss surgery. But the recently married singer denied the rumors saying that she worked out to get slim.

The star lost a whooping 32 pounds (14.5 kilograms) in a few months and displayed her hot figure during the launch of her E=MC2 album. Her remarkable weight loss set the rumors ringing that the diva went under the knife to get a fabulous figure.

Mariah snaps back, “I know the U.K. is freaking out that I had some crazy plastic surgery done, but… honestly, it’s working out and diet. Look at what I’m eating right now: olives!

“It makes me upset that people think I’ve had surgery, ’cause let’s discuss how annoying the dieting process was. My girls will eat really good fried food, and I also love sweet plantain and rice and peas, but I can’t eat it! If I eat it, it’s small!”

Lets hope she doesn’t follow Janet Jackson’s footsteps.

Mariah Carey is planning to walk down the aisle again in an extravagant $4m wedding. Unlike her intimate and secret Bahamas wedding, her $4m wedding to Nick Cannon will be an extravagant affair.

According to an insider, “It’s going to be held in New York City in the next six weeks. Picture a wedding on the scale of Liza Minnelli’s (to David Gest) and you’ll be on the right track.”

Another source reveals,  “She wants over 2,000 guests and the budget will be well over $4 million and she’ll have at least 14 bridesmaids.”

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon tied the knot last month on April 30th in an intimate and secret wedding ceremony in Bahamas.

Mariah recently sported the rock on her finger when she was dining at NY’s Waverly Inn and it left all diners at the restaurant mesmerized.

A source close to the couple said, “Nick has been besotted since he first met Mariah on a US TV show three years ago. Just before they got married, he got down on one knee again and gave her the pink diamond ring he’d had custom made. She was stunned and thrilled.”

Mariah Carey after being criticised for too much skin show, has pushed the blame on the media for her ’sexy image’. She says, she just imitates the stereotypical standards set by the media. Whatever media decides is confirmed sexy and she always goes along with what she has been exposed to.

‘I think that a lot of women are just trying to live up to the stereotypes and to the standard that’s set on TV and in magazines, which is airbrushed women who weigh three pounds -. And it’s not fair. It’s not easy. But everybody gets really protective of me. They’re like, ‘Be less sexy’…It’s not intentional. If you film my body a certain way, it’s gonna look like a certain way. But honestly, I’ve been the same way since I was a little kid. Like, I’m just emulating whatever’s on a magazine.’

Well… Skin show always sells Mariah… you may push the blame on the media is… but we know how good a marketing strategy your skin show and your sexy image is

How ironic I say… She is a good singer no doubt so she should have insured her vocal chords but ironically she insured her body…which is in no way attractive or graceful.

It is revealed that the book is titled ‘500 hours’ as it talks about the hours Mariah ostensibly spent in beauty school, where she went just for the heck of it, and she now intends to turn her experience into literature…i mean tips precisely.

How ironic! The woman who needs a make-over herself is gonna talk about beauty and fashion to others.

Mariah Carey is soon to join the club of stars who had launched their own perfumes…Celiene Dion, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and a lot of them.

And she is taking a hands on role and confesses that she absolutely loves the procedure.

“It’s been an amazing and creative process. You sit down with the ‘juice’ companies, and then they show you the different scents. You then compose the scent,” reveals an excited Mariah.

We hope that the scent is as well composed as her songs…and just touch the soul!

Mariah Carey is on top of the world…but I think she is kinda ’stagnating’. Of course the music is great. But I think she should try and look as great as her music in her videos.

I think she should try and work out a good hairstyle and get some good make up. She is aging no doubt…but she is still fit as a fiddle. There’s nothing really wrong with her dress sense.

But I think she should change her hairstyle, hair-color and make-up…I think people need a change…and once they see a diva or an actress stagnating in terms to creativity or looks…they turn to the other fresher ones.

So Ms.Carey needs to really roll up her sleeves and do something about her new look that would make her look prettier.
