Mariah Carey is a brilliant singer, writes her own songs, looks average and is a diva in a complete pop-star package. There might be a lot of things that inspire her to make the kind of music that she makes. On being asked if relationships can fuel her relationships she replied,

“It does. I can take a scenario from eighth grade and go, “Okay, I’m going to write about this as if it’s now.” I could take a scenario from the year of Butterfly, and write about it like it’s yesterday. I wrote the lyrics to “Honey” in Puerto Rico on this boat. I kept rewinding the track and watching people jet-ski, thinking, “That would be cool for the video.” I never think about the video when I’m writing the song, usually, but the whole atmosphere seemed right.”

Well… its good that she keeps those relationship influences in moderation… else we would get to hear something like Janet Jackson’s “Thinking of my ex” song heheheh

Somebody compared Eminem to Wilmer Valderrama. Why? Because he had nothing better to do than to brag about how many women he has hooked up with. Wonder whats wrong with him.

Its pretty unbelievable but the rapper says he dated Mariah for about 6-7 months before everything finished.

A source has quoted him saying, “Yes, me and Mariah did have a relationship for about a good six, seven months. (But) it didn’t work. I wasn’t really into what she was into; our personalities collided. She’s a diva, and I’m a little more regular, I guess.”

If that is true, I wonder why there was no hoopla in the media circles about it. Nevertheless, Eminem is really furious that Mariah denied the fling and that has hit his ego real hard. And Em in his own style (accusing her to be a b**ch and a c**t) said,

“I can never deny her talent, but the fact that she denied we ever had something, that’s bad.”

I really wonder if it has become that bad with Em that he has come up with a claim like this…Wierd!

Mariah Carey’s much “emancipated” concert ..The Adventures Of Mimi finally reached it’s finale on the 10th of october after creating waves for around 1 1/2 months throughout America. The concert tagged ‘THE ADVENTURES OF MIMI The Voice…….came as the perfect continnum to her superhit album ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’.

The grand finale for the concert took place on tuesday night in the US airways centre in phoenix . Mariah’s concert had been criticised on many grounds like

• Her costumes …a James Bond styled suit ,“R&B superhero” costume as well as a sexy leotard and garter number encrusted with Swarovski crystals !
• Her september 8th concert where she was booed by the audience for coming more than 2hrs late.
• Too much concentration on clothes , back dancers and less on Mariah’s singing .

But on the other hand Mariah’s concert’s were also filled with some lovely memories like:

• Her 7th september concert saw a varied of emotions like a lady who came on stage and asked Mariah to name her unborn child ….a marriage proposal and lot more.
• The concert again proved one thing that Mariah was back and wasn’t gonna fade away so easily.

As the concert reached it’s final lap the hysteria was clearly visible with a nearly full capacity audience and Mariah’s powerpacked voice…It was the perefct farewell to Mariah’s ‘adventurous’ concert. As Mariah prepares to take her concert overseas …….. plans of a Dvd about the concert to be released very soon ……..all that we can say is that Mariah All The Best for whatever “ADVENTURES” you plan ahead !

Friday at the staples center was just another day in the office for Mariah Carey. The concert was a superb two-hour rendition of some of her most loved songs and Mariah was in her element of brilliance. However, there were some occurrences that you would not expect at a pop concert.

Firstly, Mariah made the atmosphere so emotional, that it caused one of the city’s top RJ’s –BigBoy - to get down on his knees and propose to his fiancée on stage. A magical way to propose, which the girl gladly excepted. Then there was this smoker who Mariah Carey noticed in the crowd. She was having a bit of a hard time because of his cigarette and she kindly requested it to be put out, which the bloke obligingly did.

Then to top it all off, there was this pregnant female who ran up to the stage and asked Mariah to name her unborn child. She would’ve named it Mariah if it were to be a girl. She is expecting a boy however. The wonder that is Mariah Carey, thought for a second, giving three suggestions: Roy (for her late dad), Trey (for backup singer Trey Lorenz) and Carey. The woman looked pleased and Carey it would be.

All we can say is that ‘CARRY’ on Mariah Carey !

Mariah Carey must have had a difficult time after the Billboard-AURN R AND B/HIP-HOP AWARDS. She rocked five different categories including the top female artist and the top album. You must be wondering what gave her a difficult time, Of course ‘carry’ing them home after the award function. One does not win five titles everyday.

Pop Diva Mariah Carey’s show last thursday at the Verizon centre in Washigton was not as impressive as the way she has positioned herself in past. Well, trying to hide how old you are sometimes makes you lose focus on what you are best at. Anyways Mariah, we empathise with you.

In the event before this, last tuesday, at the Turning Stone resort, Mariah compared her life to a roller coaster ride. she said ” If you dont get on the ride, you wont experience the adventure”. Wonder what she meant but i am sure the guys got the right meaning out of it and must be lining up in front of her house to get onto the roller coaster ride.

Well Mariah, winiding up the concert at Connecticut in 75 minutes is like wasting a lot of your fans’ money is it not? I guess Mariah should take a break and make sure that she comes back from the roller coaster adventures as lively as before, a real performer. All the best Mariah !!!!
