Mariah Carey is over the moon these days, as her hubby Nick Cannon has given her a wedding gift worth a whooping $16million : A 14-carat, pink diamond ring.

Mariah recently sported the rock on her finger when she was dining at NY’s Waverly Inn and it left all diners at the restaurant mesmerized.

A source close to the couple said, “Nick has been besotted since he first met Mariah on a US TV show three years ago. Just before they got married, he got down on one knee again and gave her the pink diamond ring he’d had custom made. She was stunned and thrilled.”

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon tied the knot last month in a secret and intimate ceremony.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon exchanged wedding vows in a small and “very impulsive” ceremony.Only close friends were lucky to see Mariah and Nick marriage including Da Brat.

Mariah-Nick have also made their marriage official-by filing a marriage license on the Caribbean Island of Eleuthera.

Bahamian attorney in Nassau, Monique Gomez says,”Bahamas marriage requirements state that a couple must stay in the county for 48 hours, must be over the age of 16 and should obtain a valid marriage license within 90 days.”

Carey-Cannon obtained the license within the required time period.

Gomez said, “The minister would make sure [the license] goes into the registry. It’s still a valid marriage even if it’s not filed. Anywhere in the world.”

Nick’s sister, Linda Cannon said,” He called and told us all about it.”

A friend of Mariah revealed, “Everyone is happy to see her happy.

“And it could work out — some people know each other for five years and get divorced, maybe this is true instant love.”

Mariah was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola and Nick was engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks, which was later, called off.

We wish Carey-Cannon a wonderful married life ahead.

As Christmas was round the corner…the city is busy with their Christmas shopping, music lovers have started flocking to music stores to buy Christmas Albums.

“We have stocked up all the Christmas albums of famous artists related to Christmas and they are doing pretty good in sales. Since Christmas is coming closer, there is rush of customers in our Christmas section that we have built,” said a storekeeper.

“I’m confused which one to buy as there are so many varieties available here. If I had money, I would’ve bought all of them! But I prefer Mariah Carey’s Christmas songs. She really sings well,” said a customer.

Mariah’s Christmas gift to her fans was her hit single “All I Want For Christmas Is You” which seems to be the ultimate Christmas classic.

“All I Want For Christmas Is You” was first heard as a key track on Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas album. Originally released way back in 1994…but seems to be still fresh in people’s memories like it was yesterday.

The popularity of Merry Christmas soar so high that it went on to become one of the top-selling holiday collections of all time, selling more than 11 million copies worldwide. The album is currently #24 on the SoundScan Digital Albums chart and #13 on the Top Catalog Albums chart.

“All I Want For Christmas Is You” is currently #9 on the SoundScan Top 200 Hot Digital Tracks chart.

Thats quite an achievement!

Now for most of us, Mariah Carey is what? An artist? a singer? an actor? a lady? a bombshell? a dumb-blonde? a big boobed beauty? an entertainer? hmmm… Have you ever thought of her as a human being?

I mean just look at it guys… look at what Mariah Carey does for a living… she creates music guys..! and thats something not everyone of us can do…!

Seriously people.. do you know just how hard it is to create a song?? It takes time.. patience and a great deal of thinking to come up with something creative… and this is what the lovely lady Mariah Carey has to say:

And we thought the tears in Mariah Carey’s eyes are only because of Eminem’s non-stop allegations (he’s a rapper after all!) about their once-upon-a-time relationship… but the pop diva has her care a damn attitude reigning supreme in this matter!!! The actual reason behind those tears is her priced ($ 7,500 to be precise) jacket has been lost in mail…

Poor Mariah had parted with that precious gift from a rich admirer for PETA… there were two such jackets that she had been gifted and she had packed both of them off to two different locations – Los Angeles and Switzerland… Los Angles ain’t that cold a place so the FUR JACKET reached safely, but the United Parcel Service people in Switzerland surely needed the priced possession more than those animal protectors

MUSIC…….I always knew there was something so magical about it……..and by magic I don’t imply the soothing and relaxing Magic but I am referring to the actual magic…you know na…..the “open sesame”..”abracadabra” kind of magic. mmm…..

Well it’s quite unbelievable but a source has revealed that a fan of Mariah told her that her ‘Music’ had the power to open up anything…..including GARAGES!!!Ya…Garages ..can you believe it ……absolutely unbelievable…So Mariah Carey’s voice can come in handy when it’s time to go for a drive !

Carey told a magazine that a fan once told her that when she was listening to a Carey C.d and she hit a particular high note, her garage door would open or close ! wow !!! Sounds great but it’s a bit creepy too…….you know the whole doors opening and closing on their own…haunted houses…WAIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!I think I’m watching too many horror movies nowadays!

I’ve heard about the power of music but this really takes the cake! But I must say that it would be an interesting experiment…I think I should try it out on my Garage too …….!

Looks like Mariah Carey’s tour is giving audiences new suprises in every concert.Jay-Z made a surprise appearance at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, showing up on stage during Mariah Carey’s tour stop. Jay stepped in during her performance of their single, “Heartbreaker,” and later bowed in awe as Carey hit her signature high notes wearing nothing more than a bikini and a cape! Great! one can say that this tour is surely an ‘adventurous’ one……….only to the extent of the suprise entries coz Mariah’s WARDROBE(is there one!!!!) ain’t suprising anyone anymore!!!!!!
