The Forbes magazine has come up with its first-ever ranking of the 20 Richest Women in Entertainment. With Oprah Winfrey finishing at the No.1 spot for earning $1.5 billion in her extremely savvy career, our Diva is not far behind.

Mariah Carey has finished at the No.6 spot. Forbes estimates that Mariah Carey has earned $225 million during her career as a Pop heartthrob.

Looks like the commercial success of Mariah Carey’s album Emancipation of Mimi has absolutely no effect on the jury of the American Music Awards.

She was snubbed at the American Music Awards on Tuesday despite scoring three nominations.

She was nominated for four awards last year two…but won only one.

Worst was when she went zero for six way back in 1997.

Tough luck Mariah.

Yes indeed…I agree….there are loads of jealous heads who would not want to accept Mariah’s comeback…but then they could atleast sympathise with her right…Do as you please Mariah…your vocals chords are simply amazing…

Well thats Mariah carey seems to be saying in her latest single ’say somethin’. Mariahs latest single also features Pharell and rapper Snoop Dog.backed by an instrumental version, say somethin is the 5th single to be taken from mariah careys critically aclaimed album “Emancipation Of Miami” which has achieved 9x platinum status.

The singers outastanding success has been continuing with an addition of three Grammies to her array of awards her most recent at the 20th annual soul train music awards. Well at this rate all we can say is” she ‘really knows what the audience wants!

Charity is something that is very close to the heart of pop star Mariah Carey. Her untiring efforts for charity for youth and NGO’s been widely known and appreciated too.

Infact, the music queen has been honored with a Congressional Award, that is a testimony in itself to the volume of work that she has done for charity.

Youth education, child welfare are issues that have been rather close to Mariah. With her work in these areas, Mariah is certainly bringing joy tp a plenty those who’ve never seen it or hardly ever get to see it. Mariah for sure, has her heart in the right place.
